For my 25th birthday, I thought it would be fun to put together some life lessons I’ve learned, whether serious or light-hearted, and share them here to look back on or for others to enjoy reading, so here we go!

- God DOES give you more than you can handle. That’s why we need him.
- Give yourself grace, but don’t let it become an excuse for laziness.
- Eat healthy & your body will thank you.
- While we’re on that topic: drink more water.
- Stop trying to rush through every season of life & be present.
- It’s okay to be upset, but don’t wallow in it for too long.
- Fear is a good liar. Don’t listen to it.
- Forgiveness will set you free.
- Being vulnerable is key to deeper relationships.
- My identity lies in Christ alone.
- Love is a choice, and we have to choose it everyday.
- Let go of control. God’s got this.
- Today’s culture makes it seem like nothing we do will ever be enough.
- And we will never be enough, but JESUS is.
- You are responsible for how you act or react to others’ actions.
- Be grateful. There is always someone else wishing for what you have now.
- Show up for your friends: for lunch plans, big events, and everything in between.
- Read labels: of food, skincare, baby products, etc.
- Be comfortable with being uncomfortable. That’s where growth happens.
- Relax. Your to-do list can wait until tomorrow.
- Stay true to yourself. Comparison is the thief of joy.
- Listen to your gut & follow your heart.
- Fill up your cup so you can overflow to others.
- Learn to say yes more often than no.
- Not everyone will like you, and that’s okay.
What are some life lessons you’ve learned?!
